Mandurah a short drive south of Perth. When I knew it it was a small coastal town where people used to visit for a picnic or go for their vacations and fishing. By the time I left for Queensland it was a thriving city in its own right. Beautiful beaches and a protected inlet for the kids to play around in.
 
Bunbury is one of the larger towns (cities) in WA. It has a port from which in my day wood chip was exported. It services a large farming and mining community. Coal from Collie and also a large silicon mining industry near by

Yallingup is known for its surfing beaches, vineyards and the caves such as Mammoth Cave, Jewel Cave and Lake Cave. it is also the start of the tall timber country. On your way there stop off at Busselton a beautiful tourist spot. Busselton also has the longest jetty in the Southern hemisphere
