Esperance The Bay of Isles. Once a farming community and holiday destination for the people of the Gold
Fields (and still is). I spent from 1971 to 1975 here and loved every minute of it. The area has many scenic destinations.
Along the coast west to Twighlight Cove a popular swimming spot. Back to town and the clear waters of the Bay. look out into
the bay and see Sandy Hook Island, Woody Island and the Island that looks like a huge camels hump Remark Island and a miriad
of other islands. Travel east to Cape Le Grande and walk along the beach digging your toes into the pure white sand. See Hellfire
Bay, Thistle Cove being watched over by Whistling Rock. Climb Frenchman's Peak to the huge cave on top that will house a large
tourist bus and take in the view. Further east to Orleans Bay and check out Orleans Farm where people fly into one a year
from all over the world for their annual auctions of their stud Santa Gertrudis cattle. Then further east to Cape Arid National
Park. Once you have seen the district you will understand why I call it MY EDEN.
