Bananas are a big part of Carnarvon

Carnavon on the Coast a magic plave. Fishing, growing bananas are the main industries. Tourism is large. The Space tracking station played a big part of the space race. From here you go to Wolf Crater and Mount Augustus. GEOGRAPHY LESSON for all you out there that thought that Ularu (Eyres Rock) is the largest monolith (rock) in the world well I hate t tell you all WRONG. Its actually Mt Augustus near Carnarvon. Ularu is only half the size of Mt Augustus.

Travel north turn and head into Tom Price a nice little mining town. Take a look at the iron ore mine and some of the surrounding country side.

Then off to Wittenoom. Made famous for its asbestos mine nowdays its the many Gorges and iron stone Hamesley Ranges and their rigged ness that attract people.
